Quinta Torrinha and apartments, two buildings sold together in Funchal

This is a joint sale of two properties in Santa Luzia, near central Funchal: the historic Quinta Torrinha, with eight rooms and suites, and Quinta Torrinha Apartamentos, a building of four independent apartments. Both hold local accommodation (AL) licences, and together they total 13 bedrooms on about 3,830 m² of land.

The main house dates from 1896 and was restored between 2020 and 2022. It now operates as a luxury guesthouse, with individually designed rooms including garden suites with jacuzzi, a pool and sun terraces, a Turkish bath, fitness space, a library with fireplace, a bar, a gallery and event areas, all set in terraced subtropical gardens.

The second building has 410.2 m² of gross area over three floors, with a two bedroom apartment, two one bedroom apartments and a studio, plus its own pool of about 23.8 m², jacuzzi, deck, gardens and parking. The pair can continue as a hospitality business or be adapted for private or multigenerational use, subject to licensing.
